The Sims Family | Peters Township Family & Children Photography

This session had been in the works for a while, and I was so excited when we were able to finally coordinate everyone's schedules.  I'm sure  it wan't easy getting nine adults and four children at the same place and time.  But this session was extremely special for this group because it was a gift to mom, Debbie, for Mother's Day.  I'm assuming it was also important because without going into too many details, they have been through some ups and downs over the last few years, and needless to say, I know they are all so grateful to be together.  I can never say enough how important it is to have family photos.  To have photos of your parents, with your children, siblings, grandparents...it really is priceless.  So if you haven't had a family photo updated in awhile, now is the time.  Seriously, even if it's not a session with me (although I would love to see your faces in front of my camera). Take some photos, book a session, borrow a tri-pod, and please print them, frame them, hang them, make an album, create magnets, and iphone covers...show off that family of yours!  Life moves faster than we think, and photos are the greatest tool in helping us to remember a smile, or some's laugh or how tiny and silly our children are.  It's all so fleeting.  Okay, enough ranting from me :)

Please meet the Sims family...

Uncle Brendan, really did try his best, to make little Logan happy.

I'm sure Pap was sharing some wisdom and life lessons with little Logan.

These two sure have set an amazing example for their children and grandchildren.

Sometimes things don't go as planned when photographing little ones....but hey that's life folks.

These brothers are always on the go...what better way to make them happy, then to request them to JUMP!

LET'S GO PENS!

I know a few people who were ecstatic  for the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins.  Excluding one guy (who shall remain nameless) from New Jersey who is second from the left in the back row, that had to be coerced into wearing the Pens jersey :)

Disclaimer: this session was done before the Pens won the Stanley Cup... I think it's only fitting, and maybe a little superstitious that we repeat this photo again next year! #threepeat

Noah had fun collecting pine cones in between shots!

What's a photo session, without ninja moves?!?!

I love  taking pictures of people taking pictures :)

Thank you so much guys!  I am so happy I was able to capture your smiling faces, and create these photos that you can cherish for years to come!

All my best!

-Mandy
